Boost Vacation Experience With The Top 10 Things To Do In Mykonos

As the world's most popular adult play land, you may wonder what there is to do in Mykonos besides party, drink, dance, sleep, and repeat. But then, there really is a list of top 10 things to do in Mykonos and we are going to share it with you now.

1 - Scuba Diving: Yes, this is one of the very few Greek Islands where you can actually dive and there is as much breath-taking beauty below the azure water as there is above. Explore the marine life, coral reefs and explore the sunken ships that are located around the island.

2 - Snorkeling: If scuba diving is not your thing, then you can go snorkeling at Paranga Beach. With its rocky headlands and sandy plateaus, you can spend the afternoon thoroughly enjoying yourself as you explore this part of the island.

3 - Shopping: Spend some time exploring the beautiful, narrow streets in Mykonos Town and you will find beautiful Greek trinkets, boutique shops, art galleries and fabulous food.

4 - The Archaeological Museum: Spend time touring this fabulous museum built in 1902. Holding artifacts dating back to 426-425 B. C., you will see stunning sculptures, art, and items that have been recovered from the "Purification Pit".

5. Boat tours. Since some of the places on the island are not accessible by land transportation, there is always the option for a boat ride to more exotic locations in the island. Taking a day trip with a boat tour is a good way to spend another calming but fun island adventure.

6. Scooter Rentals. This is one of the most recommended things that will be given to guests when visiting Mykonos. Renting a scooter for a more independent exploration of the island can give you better and easier access to what areas you want to visit.

7. Bike tours. Guided bike tours are arranged for guests for additional day trip adventures while in Mykonos. Itineraries are also prepared to ensure that all historical sites listed in the tour plan can be visited. Bike tours are varied depending on the fitness capabilities of particular guests wishing take the tour.

8. Eat authentic Greek cuisine. One dining area called Kiki's Restaurant located on Agios Sostis Beach has no electricity at all and by sunset, business hours are done. It's the uniqueness of the place that made it quite popular in Mykonos as well as the superb seafood they prepare and their famous barbequed chicken. A guidebook and scooter are necessary because this one of the places located remotely but it is definitely worth finding.

9 - Party: Yes, we can't do a list about Mykonos without talking about the world-renowned Cavo Paradiso. You must spend at least one night enjoying the great party and events that take place from 1am to 8:30am. Be sure to rest before you go, because you will not stop dancing, jumping, and having a great time the whole night.

10 - Little Venice: You have to take time to wander around Little Venice. You will also want to spend time exploring the Wind Mills that have been completely renovated. At over a 100 years old, they are pretty from afar, but amazing when you get up close and explore them.
