How To Develop Your Intuition

By Eric Fender

When you are developing your intuition it is much like a sensation that you are getting back from the landscape. If it feels like a 'no' then respect that and go to another place. The solutions you're seeking will not be discovered at that location. Keep performing this till you receive a 'yes'. You will know by the sensation you get.

Whenever you arrive at the area you are feeling drawn to, the next stage would be to check in with your heart and allow it to guide you to the exact spot for your nature immersion. To do this, scan your body and notice exactly where there's any stress. Then like letting a rock drop to the ground, just let go of any stress you feel inside your body. The earth can use this tension elsewhere.

When all stress has been dropped out of your body and out of your thoughts, next place your attention on your heart middle. There's a delicate and mild force that's continually guiding us through life. To me the pull feels like a small spider thread pulling me from my heart center. Really feel the pull and permit it to guide you into nature. You do not have to know exactly where it's guiding you. The important point is to just go along with the subtle pull from within.

Some people also really feel like they're being pushed by this delicate power. However others really feel a combination in between becoming pulled and pushed. How it feels for you, just go with it and permit it to guide you to your nature spot. This spot is exactly where you will be basing your self for your nature immersion.

When you feel you've discovered your nature spot, the following step would be to find the 'exact' center of it. You do this by tapping into the feeling with the location. Stand in one location and notice how it feels. You might feel a slight pull to stand 1 step to the left or right or forwards or backwards. Keep doing this until the exact center of your nature spot feels right.

Spend some time at this point and ask questions of the objects around you with your inner voice whether it's Ok for you to stand there. Ask the trees. Inquire of the rocks. Ask the saplings. Ask the birds. Inquire of the insects. Inform them what you are eager to do. Tell them why you're eager to do it. Ask them if they have any concerns of you. Tap into the place. Tap in to the spirit and feeling of the place. Go along with an open heart and nature will probably be a mirror.
