Three Tourist Spots In Tokyo

By Freddy McCandless

Off to Japan for your next vacation? If Tokyo is part of your trip , here are three places that you certainly should go to. So go on and take a closer look.

Ginza

When in Tokyo, you positively cannot skip going to Ginza. You really should go there at night time though so that you may enjoy all of the bight neon signs. You will discover sign after sign on all of the main intersections. Here, you can enjoy shopping and dining.

Asakusa

If you want to take a break from modern-day Tokyo, head on down to Asakusa. With barely any significant changes, this area looks pretty much just like it did years and years back. Even with the repairs that have been made over the years, this area will definitely give you a closer look at Japanese heritage. The highlight of the place is the Sensoji Temple, also known as the Asakisa Kannon Temple. This Buddhist temple is without doubt one of Japan's most radiant and favored temples in the country as it has become one of the leading tourist destinations around. Then to add to the temple, there is also the famous shopping street, Nakamise. You are positive to find just the very best souvenir with 200 meters of shops to choose from. You will also get to take your pick of time honored Japanese street food.

Akihabara

Akihabara is in fact a tech savvy sanctuary. You will find shop after shop that sell gadget after gadget. But before you purchase, you better check if it holds the same power supply as the one you have back home. But even if electronics are not your thing, there are also cool anime shops that are worth taking a look at, since that is a big part of the Japanese culture after all. Plus, you will almost certainly be able to find some interesting Japanese goods that you won't be able to get in other parts of the country.
